Mercedes-Benz EQC 2019

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is an outstanding work of engineering and is going to be a major competitor to Audi e-Tron. Mercedes-Benz is assumed to rapidly convert the premium SUV segment to all-electric. EQC and the e-Tron are expected to usher in new buyers of electric vehicles which are already being spearheaded by Tesla’s Model X. EQC is claiming 280 miles journey on a single charge at an appropriate charging station in accordance to the NEDC standards. EQC is equipped with a water-cooled onboard charger with a capacity of 7.4 kW and has a maximum capacity of up to 110 kW. EQC is expected to be priced at $70,000.

The German-built EDC has a battery pack that will be powered by 2 asynchronous motors with a total capacity of 300 kW (408 hp). EDC works a top speed of 180 km/h (111 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.1 seconds.

Kia Niro EV

The Kia Niro EV has hit the market and it offers a great option on the market starting in 2019. The Niro EV has an inbuilt kWh lithium-polymer battery pack capable of a 100 kW charge rate. The engineering marvel can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 7.8 seconds due to the front wheel drive 150 kW (204 ps) motor producing 395 Nm torque. A less expensive Kona Electric will also be available in the market with a 39.2 kWh lithium-polymer battery pack that will deliver a range of 186 miles from a single charge at an appropriate charging station.

Porsche Taycan

The Porsche Taycan is arguably the most anticipated electric vehicle of 2019 because it promises to unravel the fastest EV charging system in modern times. It’s a high-end all-electric vehicle with an 800-volt system. It is expensive rather only affordable by the wealthiest in the world, however, the technology is going to push to the whole industry to a new level of performance, research, and development. It is priced at about $90,000 and it is expected to into production around the end of the year. Porsche Taycan is expected to have a significant range with different options ranging between 200 and 300 miles. It promises to maintain a high-speed for a long period of time without overheating. Porsche Taycan will be a game changer in the industry.
